Activist billionaire George Soros is pumping $220 million into BLM groups ahead of U.S. election

Left-wing billionaire George Soros has pledged $220 million to “dismantle systemic racism,” with plans to target everything from economic issues to what has been described as “more immediate efforts.”

Speaking via Twitter, Soros announced that his foundations would be donating a considerable amount of money to several different entities and causes.

“For decades, my foundations have invested in dismantling systemic racism—from ending the drug war to securing voting rights,” he wrote. “Now, a new $220 million investment will build power in Black communities and new anti-racist policies in the US.”

Soros recently made headlines after a public records by Breitbart revealed that Soros will double his 2016 election spending as part of a broader effort to help prevent President Donald Trump’s re-election.

“Soros has poured money “into the coffers of the Democracy PAC, a super PAC that passes money to other liberal PACs working to defeat Trump and congressional Republicans,” a report read. “[The] PAC has received $40 million, double the $20 million it received in 2016 throughout the presidential election.”

Around $150 million of the $220 million investment will go to five-year grants for organizations “aimed at achieving equal statistical outcomes between demographic groups in economics and criminal justice.”

Where the rest goes, however, is more vague- and has been described as “more immediate efforts to advance racial justice.”

Black Voters Matter and Repairers of the Breach are expected to be at least two of the funding recipients.
