Activist Shaun King starts publicly releasing names of Kenosha Police Officers

Activist and social media figure Shaun King is once again stirring the pot when it comes to law enforcement, this time threatening to systematically release the identities of Wisconsin officers- at least until the Kenosha Police Department releases the name of the officer who shot Jacob Blake.

King, who has been known to speak out against police, made demands to KPD on Twitter, threatening to doxx and release the names of all their officers.

“To the Kenosha Police Department,” he began. “If you do not name the officer who brutally shot Jacob Blake on Sunday, we will simply begin naming officers from your department who may or may not be him.”

“F*** it,” he continued, “Your protection of his identity is unethical. What’s his name/”

The tweet was posted on August 25, and has since accrued over 3,600 retweets.

In the past, King was slammed for pushing a false narrative, involving a woman who claimed she had been raped by a Texas State Trooper.

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that they were “appalled that anyone would make such a despicable, slanderous and false accusation against a peace officer who willingly risks his life every day to protect and serve the public.”
