AOC given honorary ‘Employee Of The Month’ award from Goya after record sales

The CEO of Goya foods has given a new moniker to radical left-leaning Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: “Employee of the Month.”

“When she boycotted us, our sales actually increased 1,000%,” CEO Robert Unanue said recently in regard to the New York Democrat’s politically-motivated boycott.

“We gave her an honorary, we never were able to hand it to her, but she got employee of the month for bringing attention to Goya and our adobo,” he added.

Unanue noted that the company never lost their loyal consumer fan base during the boycott, and that the number of new consumers rushing in to support was a welcome sight.

According to Fox Business, Ocasio-Cortez’s boycott came after Unanue said that the United States was “blessed” to have “a leader like President Trump who is a builder.”

The CEO accused the Congresswoman of being rather naive about the Green New Deal and going against her own people’s interests.
