Many took to social media last night to mock presumptive democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden last night after his Instagram account posted an image of him telling Kamala Harris she was his choice for vice president on a video call.

The first thing that that was pointed out was that he was using a script on the video call. The Federalist co-founder Sean Davis tweeted, “Biden’s staff had to write a script for him so he’d know why he was even talking to Kamala Harris.”

The phone he was holding was also upside down. Which probably means there was someone else listening in. But couldn’t they have just been on the video call to begin with? No matter how you slice it, it’s an awkward optic.

Benny Johnson from Turning Points USA also pointed out that the comic that was visible on Biden’s desk was of a man screaming, “WHY ME?!”

It might seem petty to point out some of the oddities in that image, but it’s a largely staged photo, so you think his campaign would have done a better job.
