The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) is catching ridicule for their use of poor photoshop work in order to make their annual demographic report look more “diverse.”
The agency did not put full effort in to the cover page of the report, hastily shopping a wheelchair-bound woman and a blind man into the stock photo chosen.
“For the cover of its diversity report, ODNI bought a stock photo called “Portrait Of Multi-Cultural Office Staff Standing In Lobby” and then photoshopped a woman in a wheelchair and a blind guy into it,” tweeted Luke Thompson, who noticed the change. “Siri, show me the worst use of stock photos ever.”
The tweets quickly became a hive of comments lampooning the shoddy image.
“Oh, look, they hired a guy who wears brown shoes with a black belt,” one user wrote.
The cover photo was part of a recent push by ODNI leadership to display how open the agency was to inclusivity and diversity.
