Climate alarmist Greta Thunberg was put on blast after she claimed she was forced to sit on the floor of an “overcrowded train,” only for it to later be revealed that she got a first class upgrade.
Thunberg, a 16-year-old Swede, rode on the Deutsche Bahn railway and took to Twitter on Saturday, posing on the floor of the train with her luggage.
“Traveling on overcrowded trains through Germany,” she wrote. “And I’m finally on my way home!”
The DB railway was less than happy with the insinuation that they left Thunberg high and dry.
“Dear #Greta, thank you for supporting us railroad workers in the fight against climate change! We were pleased that you were on the ICE 74 with us on Saturday,” DB responded “And with 100 percent green electricity. It would have been even nicer if you had also reported how friendly and competent you were looked after by our team at your seat in first class.”
According to the Daily Mail, Thunberg, who was returning from Madrid, backtracked and specified that while she was on an overcrowded train for a different part of the trip, she did ride in first class.
Our train from Basel was taken out of traffic. So we sat on the floor on 2 different trains. After Göttingen I got a seat. This is no problem of course and I never said it was. Overcrowded trains is a great sign because it means the demand for train travel is high!

DB first class services offer leather seats, complimentary WiFi, newspapers, and more legroom, as well as free food and drink.
Thunberg’s gaffe came mere hours after she told an Italian crowd that she would “put leaders against the wall” if they did not concede to her climate demands.
