County Commissioner in Florida claims you can kill Cornavirus with a hairdryer during public meeting

A former paramedic-turned Florida politician claims that using a blow dryer would kill coronavirus- and he’s likely starting to regret saying such a thing on public record.

Okeechobee County Commissioner Bryant Culpepper told his fellow commissioners that he saw the “cure” on cable TV, claiming it came from a doctor that had studied the virus.

“This sounds really goofy -and it did to me too- but it works,” he said in the video of the meeting, recorded last Friday. “The answer was you use a blow dryer. You hold a blow dryer up to your face and you inhale with your nose and it kills all the viruses in your nose.”

Despite an awkward silence, Culpepper continued.

“Sometimes the cures for some of these diseases are very simple,” he said.

“Okay,” one commissioner said.

According to the New York Post, the commission then chastised him for giving out unproven information.

The alleged cure was created by “futurologist” Dän Lee Dimke, who Allegedly holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the State of New York, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and a Ph.D. in Education from Southwest University.

While Dr. Dimke is known for his many published “help books,” he is not a medical doctor.

Culpepper offered an apology after he got into online arguments with people who criticized him after the video began being spread around the internet, and stated that he should have ignored the more hateful comments.

I will not offer any more suggestions unless they are tried and proven,” he wrote.
