Diaper company recognizes bathrooms are not set up for men with children, makes a serious change

Diaper manufacturer Pampers is set to install over 5,000 baby changing tables in bathrooms across North America, an effort to help the long-neglected demographic of fathers who have to change baby diapers.

The effort is part of a new campaign to encourage dads to bond with their children and was inspired by a 2018 photo of a father being forced to use his own legs as a baby changing table in a men’s bathroom.

Of the 5,000 or so changing tables, 500 will be located in major cities such as Detroit, Dallas, and Cincinnati.

According to the Daily Mail, singer John Legend has taken on the duties of spokesman for the effort, claiming that “Dads have to resort to all these maneuvers because there’s no changing stations in our restrooms.”
