DOD equity chief accused of having history of anti-white social media posts

A Department of Defense official at the helm of the diversity, equity and inclusion trend is reported to have a history of disparaging comments and attitudes towards white people.

Kelisa Wing, the self-professed “woke” DEI chief at the DoD’s Education Activity and an Army veteran, reportedly said some pretty questionable things about white people.

“I’m exhausted with these white folx in these [professional development] sessions,” she tweeted in 2020. “[T]his lady actually had the CAUdacity [caucasian audacity] to say that black people can be racist too…I had to stop the session and give Karen the BUSINESS … [W]e are not the majority, we don’t have power.”

Wing, who oversees curriculum at DoDEA, claimed that “[B]eing antiracist means being active against racism … you will NEVER arrive … stop centering this on whiteness.”

Any critics of Wing’s ideology appear to be dismissed right off the bat, and she frequently refers to them as “Karens.”

When one netizen criticized one of her works that claimed “racism is ingrained in the very fabric of our country,” Wing simply wrote: “Bye Karen.”

Wing was also critical of former US President Donald Trump, referring him to the “whole boy version of a Karen,” and to former Education Secretary Betsy DeVos as “the queen of Karens.”

According to the New York Post, Wing has written or co-authored many inflammatory children’s books on race, including “What is White Privilege?”

In “What is Anti-Racism?”, Wing erroneously claimed that the modern idea of race “was introduced by the National Party in Germany.”

On the DoDEA’s YouTube channel, Wing claimed her jobs include creating “a holistic view of the agency in terms of recruitment and retention, development and promotion, teaching and learning, and then as well as climate.”
