A South Florida Instagram model has been charged with murdering her boyfriend in the parking area of her boyfriend’s Hileah residence.

Karina Corbalan faces a second-degree murder charge of Alejandro Sanchez, a 28-year-old male who succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.

According to WSVN, neighbor Xiomara Antunez said her daughter saw and heard the shooting unfold on their Ring surveillance camera.

“She shoots the car,” Antunez said. “We only heard the ‘Poom, poom, poom.’ We went out, and he fell there running.”

Corbalan and Sanchez had been dating for some time, and Antunez claims there was a considerable amount of yelling and screaming before shots were fired.

Soon, Corbalan and Sanchez’ mother were in an altercation.

“They argue, the mother and the girl, and she said, ‘You kill my son. ‘You kill my son,’ and she didn’t realize that he was dead,” Antunez said. “She said, ‘Wake up, wake up, Alex’ — the girl.”

Police arriving on the scene were quick to respond, taking Corbalan into custody and securing the firearm.

An Instagram model, Corbalan has around 9,200 followers on the platform.

Records show that Corbalan has a history of violence, having been arrested in 2019 for battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer with violence.
