The former ISIS bride who told Americans to commit terror attacks on the United States is claiming she would be a model citizen if the US allowed her to come home.
Former Alabama resident Hoda Muthana is currently begging for the US to allow her to come home, hoping that the US will show her mercy for shacking up with a terrorist.
“I just want to go back home,” Hoda Muthana said. “I want my son to see my family, I want him to be safe in Syria. It’s not safe here, no matter what my government tells me.”
According to Fox News, President Donald J. Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have both formally announced opposition to Muthana’s return. In fact, the former gave the latter a standing order not to return to the country.
The young Muslim woman believes that therapy would be a reasonable punishment for her defection to ISIS.
“Maybe therapy lessons. Maybe a process that will ensure us we will never do this again. I am definitely planning, definitely wanting people to not make the same decision that I’ve made,” she said.
While she was affiliated with ISIS, she told Americans to rise up and kill their fellow countrymen.
“Americans wake up! Men and women altogether. You have much to do while you live under our greatest enemy, enough of your sleeping! Go on drive-bys and spill all of their blood, or rent a big truck and drive all over them. Veterans, Patriot, Memorial etc Day parades..go on drive by’s + spill all of their blood or rent a big truck n drive all over them. Kill them,” she tweeted last month.
Despite such recent comments, she still feels she can be salvaged.
“Before I came, I’ve never done any crime and I’m sure I’m not going to be doing any crimes in the future,” she said, “and I know I’ve come to Syria and look like I am a supporter of the worst terror group in history.”
Muthana was born in New Jersey to a Yemeni diplomat, and is not officially a US Citizen. She was radicalized while living in Hoover, Alabama.
