ISIS bride who wants to come home names newborn after Jihadi warlord

A British woman who left the Isles to become an ISIS bride has named her newborn son after a Jihadi warlord who murdered Jews.

19-year-old Shamima Begum wishes to return to the UK, but has since had her citizenship stripped.

Recently giving birth to her second son (as her first died in infancy), 19-year-old Begum had named her son Jarrah, in honor of a jihadi warlord. The name request came from her husband Yago Riedjik, who she married while she was under 18.

The name translates to “one who wounds,” or “able fighter” in Arabic, and is linked to Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah, who reportedly massacred Jews during his lifetime.

According to the New York Post, Begum gave birth to Jarrah while in a Syrian refugee camp, and also had a daughter.

Meanwhile, in the United States, former Alabama resident Hoda Muthana is currently begging for the US to allow her to come home.

“I hope they excuse me because of how young and ignorant I was. Now I’m changed. Now I’m a mother and I have none of the ideology and hopefully everyone will see it when I come back,” she said.

The young Muslim woman believes that therapy would be a reasonable punishment for her defection to ISIS.

“Maybe therapy lessons. Maybe a process that will ensure us we will never do this again. I am definitely planning, definitely wanting people to not make the same decision that I’ve made,” she said.

Muthana now wishes to return, seemingly forgetting the threats she made on social media while she was back in the USA.

“Americans, wake up,” she wrote. “Go on drive-bys and spill all of their blood. Veterans, patriots.”

Muthana was shot in 2014, while she attempted to cross into Syria from Turkey.
