Mailman caught pepper spraying family dog on regular basis in heartbreaking video

A California family is “heartbroken” after they discovered that their mailman was pepper spraying their family dog.

7-year-old Pupa, a poodle mix that was rescued by the Galindo household, was reportedly pepper sprayed by a US Postal Service carrier, who doused the tiny dog while he was going along his route on the other side of the courtyard gate.

Owner Alfonso Galindo noticed the incident while reviewing security camera footage, and quickly realized that a recurring trend of Pupa having bloodshot eyes was related to repeated sprayings by the postal worker.

According to the Daily Mail, the US Postal Service has since issued a statement in response to complaints.

“On behalf of the United States Postal Service, we want to apologize to the Galindo family and Pupa,” the USPS said in a statement. “’We do not condone our employees behaving in a manner which is not professional and courteous. The appropriate personnel and corrective action will be taken as well as training given to all local letter carriers.”\

The San Diego Police have asked for contact from anyone in the area who suspect that their dog was pepper sprayed.
