“Never apologize:” Engaged teacher sent 3k messages to 15-year-old boy

Ellen Cadman-Smith

A British school mentor is unapologetic and unashamed for her well-documented and inappropriate relationship with a teenage boy.

In yet another tale of a woman abusing her position of authority to groom young lads, sent 3,000 messages to a 15-year-old boy, claiming she was in love with him.

“I think I’m falling for you,” she texted to the young teen during the two-or-so-month affair.

Ellen Cadman-Smith was a mentor at the Cowes Enterprise College responsible for supporting pupils with “behavioral, mental health and learning difficulties.”

The entire time, according to The Sun, she was engaged to an adult male.

Eventually, the victim’s mother caught on and alerted authorities.

Following an investigation, Cadman-Smith was charged with engaging in sexual communication with a child.

“[The boy] started accessing her services. They were covering up their behavior at school… they thought they were in some kind of relationship, Prosecutor Mary Aspinall-Miles said in a statement. “She told the boy she ‘had feelings’ for him but that she couldn’t ‘have him.'”

The courts determined that the 24-year-old Cadman-Smith is not held to be criminally responsible for the offense because she was not mentally fit to go to trial.

When confronted by reporters, the former mentor claimed she was unapologetic.
