New connections between Jussie Smollett’s family and Obama administration revealed

The dropping of charges related to the faux hate crime perpetrated by actor Jussie Smollett has incited a call for investigation, particularly the alleged influence by agents of former First Lady Michelle Obama and Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx.

While the dropping of several felony charges was suspicious in itself, the Chicago Police union has since referred to Foxx’s role in the case as “Highly, highly suspicious,” particularly her communication with Obama aide Tina Tchen and the sudden decision to recuse herself days before Smollett’s arrest.

During the police investigation, Tchen and one of Smollett’s relatives were communicating via text, revealing ties between the Smollett family, Tchen and the Obamas.

Smollett’s sister, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, was previously pictured with the Obamas at the White House, and both she and her other sister worked for the Obamas during the 2008 and 2012 campaigns, respectively.

No stranger to the Obamas himself, Jussie Smollett was also photographed with the iconic former first family.

According to the Daily Mail, the Fraternal Order of Police slammed Foxx for her conduct, and accused her of interfering for political reasons.

“’Recusing herself, but not her administration, is a distinction without a difference,” Fraternal Order of Police Second Vice President Martin Preib said “What underling is going to go against their boss’s wishes?”

Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who is known for being somewhat of a hindrance to the Chicago Police, took their side, demanding answers as to why Smollett got off “scot-free” despite State Attorney insinuation that he was guilty.

Smollett’s record was wiped clean and his case sealed following the completion of 16 hours of secret community service at Jesse Jackson’s organization, Rainbow Push.
