Russians have weird ideas of what qualifies as sport, and slapping contests are no exception.
However, the Ruskies have done it yet again, this time with “booty slapping championships.”
The game is pretty simple: in an effort to show off the power of doing squats, female contestants heavy-handedly hammer each other’s hindparts in the hope of knocking one another off-balance.
According to RT, the female equivalent of the sport is considerably safer than the male variant, where individuals have sustained serious injury by getting slapped too hard.
The slapping competition took place at the Yashankin Cup in Siberia. It is unknown if “booty slapping” competitions will come to America anytime soon.
