New York teacher files suit, claims she was forced to take explicit photos of principal

A teacher in New York is suing after she allegedly had to take explicit photos of her principal posing in a thing at their place of work, as well as store NSFW images on her phone.

The federal lawsuit alleges that Gisselle Vasquez, 35, was hired to be a Spanish-speaking secretary for Principal Evelina Medina, 42, at the Robert C. Dodson School in Yonkers.

The troubles began in 2018, when Medina texted Vasquez a photo of a man lying in bed in his underwear.

The principal instructed Vasquez to save the photo for her on her own phone, leaving the assistant confused and upset.

“To this day I don’t understand what would make her so comfortable to ask me to do that for her,” Vasquez told The New York Post. “I wondered if I don’t do this what would be the repercussions for me at work. I’m a single parent and I thought what would happen if I said no.”

But the principal’s issues of being too comfortable with her assistant didn’t stop there- the next day, Medina asked Vasquez to take a photo of her.

“Medina then proceeded to lower her pants to her ankles, turned around and exposed her buttocks in thong underwear and posed,” according to court papers.

The principal then asked Medina to keep photos of her and her lover, complete with exposed photos of his penis.

“On more than one occasion, Medina made comments about her lover’s penis size and how it satisfied her more despite being smaller than her husband’s penis size,” the suit says.

“Medina used my client as her own personal drop-box to keep the sexy pictures away from her [Medina’s] husband,” said attorney Christopher Berlingieri. “Due to the serious nature of the sexual harassment here, we felt that there was no other option but to bring a civil action.”

The harassment continued to escalate, and requests for a transfer were ignored. In 2019, all complaints submitted by Vasqirz were deemed “unfounded,” despite the mountain of physical evidence.

“My professionalism exceeds the expectations of that facility,” said Vasquez, who is now on leave. “To this day I can’t believe that this happened to me. I didn’t see it coming. It’s disturbing. I’m disgusted and embarrassed.”

Medina allegedly no longer works at the school.
