OCSO ignores ICE detainer, releases illegal immigrant rape suspect; ICE picks him up on way to victim’s house

Antonio Ulises Perez

An illegal immigrant from El Salvador accused of rape was taken in by ICE after the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s office released him from custody.

38-year-old Antonio Ulises Perez, who was arrested on September 30 by the OCSO on first-degree rape charges, was released by the agency after they failed to honor an ICE retention order.

According to OKCFox, Perez was interviewed by ICE on October 8 and the agency filed a detainer, though Perez posted bond the following day.

After being released, Perez immediately went to the home of the woman he reportedly raped. He was taken into custody by ICE on the same day and remains in custody.
