Former pro golfer-turned social media golf queen Paige Spiranac helped start off the national hockey playoffs with a “Happy Gilmore” skit.
Sporting a black mini dress, Spiranac appeared on a video, imitating Adam Sandler’s snapshot swing from the film.
“With hockey playoffs starting I had to break out the Happy Gilmore swing!” Spiranac captioned on the video, which was posted to Instagram.
According to the New York Post, Spiranac’s loyal followers quickly praised her video.
“That’s pretty damn good, Paige! How many yards you figure??” one person commented.
For those who didn’t get to enjoy the nineties, “Happy Gilmore” is the story of a hockey player who becomes a pro golfer.
