Presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren calls police murdering racists on Twitter

Presidential hopeful and current Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren has drawn the ire of law enforcement officers across the country with a recent inflammatory, and inaccurate tweet.

The offending post was referencing the 5-year anniversary of the death of Michael Brown, who was killed by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson in self defense. The incident sparked riots and widespread chaos after activists made a rallying cry of the phrase, ‘hands up, don’t shoot,’ which was later determined to be based on a complete falsehood.

Senator Warren however called for “justice for Michael,” who died under circumstances of his own making. A grand jury was convened and agreed with this.

President Obama’s Justice Department even cleared Officer Wilson in the incident.

Senator Warren, often jokingly referred to as ‘Pocahantas’ for lying about her race to advance her education and career, is simply echoing claims she knows to be false, in order to advance her career. This time however, the consequences have real-world impact on the community and officers around the country.
