Comedian Pete Davidson is being ridiculed on social media after he blew up on his fans at a recent show, after several college students didn’t abide by the rule against cellular devices during the performance, which many claim wasn’t made clear to them.
The performance took place on Monday at the University of Central Florida, where Davidson became enraged after people continued to use their cell phones to record the show.
“That’s what’s f–ked up,”he ranted. “You were the one filming. That’s right, we’re embarrassing. That’s why the world is going to end in 25 years because you’re all f–king retarded. I meant it that way, idiots. You should f–king grow up. It says ‘no phones.’ You’re just supposed to just like behave. I have to have my boy patrol you guys like you’re 5 years old? That’s f–king embarrassing. You should grow up,” he continued in the middle of his set. “Where’s the next generation? Don’t you want your parents to be proud of you? Now, we’ll continue.”

Page Six reported that fans were insulted by the rant, and the University was less than pleased by his use of pejorative terms for the mentally disabled.
“Mr. Davidson’s abusive language, particularly his use of a derogatory slur, is contrary to the University of Central Florida’s values of inclusion and respect for all,” UCF said in a statement. “It’s disappointing that his rant spoiled an event that was meant to welcome students back for the fall semester.”

Davidson, however, struck back.
“Whenever somebody else comes to your f***ing town who wants to perform and is exhausted and flies all the way to the middle of f***ing nowhere to do jokes for you privileged little a**holes, don’t f***ing ruin the show for people who actually want to be here,” Davidson said.
Davidson, who lost his father during 9/11, has been known for quirky behaviors, outbursts and battles with mental illness. In 2018, he took on Congressman Dan Crenshaw in an online field that eventually took center stage on Saturday Night Live, where the congressman put the comic in his place..
