Trans activist with ‘male parts’ now wants to sue a gynecologist

The Canadian transgender activist that attempted to sue a salon for refusing to wax their male genitalia is now suing a gynecologist for refusing to book an appointment.

Well-known lawsuit hound Jessica Yaniv, who was born a biological male, claimed the office said that they “don’t serve transgender patients.”

Naturally, Yaniv was “shocked…and confused…and hurt,” making the most logical next step another lawsuit in a long chain of legal actions against persons and businesses that don’t cater to the activist.

Yaniv had previously gone after Vancouver estheticians, crying discrimination when they refused the individual a bikini wax.

Taking the matter to court, Yaniv soon discovered that the legal system doesn’t see the matter as a violation of individual rights, and claimed Yaniv was “improperly motivated” by financial gain.

Now that a gynecologist has refused service, Yaniv has new ammunition to return to the courtroom.

“Gynaecologists form a part of the multidisciplinary team who engage with transgender and non‐binary patients, either as part of the transition stage performing surgery or managing pre‐ or post‐transition gynaecological problems,” Yaniv tweeted.

According to the Daily Mail, Yaniv claimed that the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) confirmed the refusal is discrimination under the BC Human Rights Code and against their code of Ethics.

The CPSBC, however, had a different tune when pressed for comment.

“College staff never offer opinions on specific situations discussed over the phone with patients,” the organization said in a statement. “As is normal practice, staff refer callers to practice standards to guide them in making their own decision about whether or not to file a complaint against a physician. In this instance, the caller was directed to a practice standard, Access to Medical Care, which addresses discrimination. This in no way was a validation.”
