President Donald J. Trump might declare Antifa a terror organization, in hopes  it would enable law enforcement to better handle the violent far-left activist group.

“Consideration is being given to declaring ANTIFA, the gutless Radical Left Wack Jobs who go around hitting (only non-fighters) people over the heads with baseball bats, a major Organization of Terror (along with MS-13 & others),” Trump said Saturday on Twitter. “Would make it easier for police to do their job!”

Antifa has picked up in both membership and activity since the 2016 election, causing serious damage to property and persons across the United States.

While touting themselves as “anti-fascist.” Antifa has been known to target law enforcement, journalists and essentially anyone who disagrees with their ideologies.

According to the Washington Examiner, Texas Senator Ted Cruz recently requested that Attorney General William Barr, Deputy Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen, and FBI Director Christopher Wray investigate into Antifa’s actions.
