Women trash restaurant in NYC after being charged for extra sauce, assault a police officer

Three women at a fries restaurant in New York City went on a rampage that injured two employees after being charged for extra sauce.

The customers were at Bel Fries in the Lower East Side of NYC in the early morning hours of Sunday, when the incident occurred, according to the NYPD.

After being charged $1.75 for extra sauce, the enraged women allegedly started throwing glass bottles, stools, and sauce.

They even jumped over the counter to confront the employees, according to the NY Post.

An employee was able to capture the incident on video, which was posted to Twitter.

The outrage over the $1.75 sauce, led to $250 dollars in damage and two employees suffering lacerations to their heads.

The women were arrested on robbery and criminal mischief charges and identified as Pearl Ozoria, 27, of Manhattan; Chitara Plasencia, 25, of Brooklyn and Tatiyanna Johnson, 23, of Brooklyn.

One of the women, Ozaria is accused of punching and slapping the arresting officer. She was given additional charges of assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, and disorderly conduct.

Bel Fries was forced to close the business for repairs and has yet to comment.
